The Yad features a spiraling cityscape growing into wheat, symbolizing the blessing which encompasses both aspects of the ancient Israelites' life, and which mirrors our own. At the top of the Yad in a hand holding a natural, unmarred rock, with which the Israelites are commanded to build the altar as they are entering the land of Israel.
